The Prime AIFM LUX S.A. was founded as a 100% subsidiary of Prime Capital AG on September 9th, 2016 in order to extend the collective asset management of the Prime Capital group to Luxembourg. The authorizations and admissions to act as an Alternative Investment Fund Manager („AIFM“) according to the law of July 12th on Alternative investment Fund Managers and as a management company according to chapter 16 of the law from December 17th, 2010 concerning Undertakings for Collective Investments were each granted by the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier („CSSF“) on September 9th, 2016.

Prime AIFM Lux S.A. provides the investment management functions portfolio management and risk management as well as other functions that an AIFM may additionally perform in the course of the collective management of an alternative investment fund (e.g. valuation and pricing). Prime AIFM Lux S.A. currently has the license for the AIF strategies “Private Equity Fund”, “Real Estate Equity Fund”, “Fund of Funds”, “Other – Fixed Income Fund”, “Other – Infrastructure Fund” and “Other – Other” (Private Debt).
Prime AIFM Lux S.A. exclusively manage funds which are only open to professional and semi-professional investors within the meaning of the AIFMD and applicable local jurisdiction regulations.
